Luxury Self-Catering Holiday Cottages at A Corner of Eden

A Corner of Eden is one of those places that creates a special memory in people’s mind;
it’s a place to escape, a place to celebrate, a place to reconnect.

The Farmhouse sleeps 8, Angel Barn sleeps 6 and the Shepherd’s Cottage sleeps 2, all are dog friendly.

They fit perfectly into this ancient landscape and are a welcome escape from busy lives.  Each has their own special history and has been renovated to show off its character but is relaxed and luxurious, well-equipped and homely, rustic and modern.

Three different and unique self-catering holiday cottages nestled at the end of their own lane, in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just a stone’s throw from the Lake District.  This is the Eden Valley in Cumbria and it’s gorgeous!

CORONOVIRUS BOOKING POLICY : Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, we will override our normal cancellation policy and will happily move your booking to another date if you are not able to travel due to Covid19 restrictions.

Shepherd’s Cottage
Welcome to this rustic self-catering holiday cottage for two, built in the 1500’s, now lovingly renovated to create the perfect escape for couples.
In the kitchen you’ll find a homely Aga and wood burner in the spacious lounge.  Handmade four poster bed, super-kingsize for lazy mornings, and in the evenings enjoy a candlelit bath in the double ended roll top…. in fact there’s two, one in the bathroom and one outside in the private walled garden!
A real romantic retreat where you can escape to the countryside. We’re dog friendly so you can bring your pampered pooch too.

The Farmhouse
Holiday cottages don’t come much grander than this, a relaxed self-catering home from home for up to 8 guests.  Four beautiful bedrooms, perfect for family gatherings, grand dining room with open fire & unique Dairy with honesty bar.
This grade II listed building located between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District is a great place to chill out, explore the amazing surroundings, or take part in a range of adventure activities. We’re dog friendly and there are plenty of dog walks to choose from.

Angel Barn
Magic, angel dust and simple hard work have all helped to transform this 15th century barn into an amazing eco luxury self-catering holiday cottage for 6 guests and any four legged friends.
The inspiring interiors are a fantastic mix of old and new, whilst the views from the decked outdoor lounge are astounding.  Watch the sunsets from the all weather sofas then light the wood fired hot tub and be amazed at the nightime sky.

“What a find! We mostly holiday in England and I feel this is the most fabulous place we have ever stayed in!”

The Farmhouse shower room has had a lockdown makeover, we hope you like the new space 🤩 Check out the before photos!
This room once held the hot water tank in the corner cupboard, which we moved into the attic during lockdown 2. This allowed us to completely redesign the layout to make the most of the space.
Richard took up the old flooring and replaced with some recycled antique boards that he’d been saving for the just the right job.
We installed a larger shower with gorgeous Multipanel shower boards, popped in a super basin with cabinet from Rhoper Rodes, moved the loo and with the help of Sean Robinson Joinery and Decorating who created some fabulous panelling, hiding the old pipe work and enabling shelf space for storage.
We completed the look with matching wallpaper and colour scheme as the main bathroom next door. 💙
Ready and waiting for all you lovely guest to enjoy when we open again 🎊
