The surroundings of A Corner of Eden are rich with culture; important history,
book towns, farmers markets, sculpture and poetry trails, antique shops and museums
providing many things to do. The area offers a feast of opportunities for outdoor activities -
from walking on Wildboar Fell, the Howgills, the Lakeland peaks or the Pennine moors to
kayaking or fly-fishing the rivers in spate. From nature watching to challenging mountain
bike rides, from watercolour painting to paragliding you can have as much or as little
adrenaline as you need.
A Corner of Eden is at the most northerly point of the Pennine
Bridleway and is surrounded by amazing open riding country. Our neighbours Stonetrail Riding can offer trekking by the hour or up to 3 days trail riding. Mountain bike hire is also available.
