During October last year and late Spring 2016 we enlisted the help of 2 local gardeners to breath new life into the two cottage gardens.
They had been left to do their own thing for the last 10 years whilst we've been concentrating on the interiors of the cottages, they always looked lovely and full of country garden favourites, but they were in need of nutrition & new planting to encourage them to blossom further.
Richard then finished things off with a new stone edged path. The gardens are really starting to flourish now.
For those budding cooks the Shepherd's Cottage has some new herb planters to use whilst you are staying.
